Flying Jewel Art Studio got its name from Melissa’s love for hummingbirds. Early Spanish explorers called these awe inspiring creatures “flying jewels” when they saw them for the first time in the New World. It’s the little and great wonders all around us that inspire Melissa’s artwork.

Melissa created vibrant artwork with her heart and soul to tell a story and make a genuine connection with people. She’s been making art for over 20 years and has experience in hand-lettering, murals, window painting & custom pieces.
